Gloucestershire Old Spot Pigs

The Gloucestershire Old Spot, known as the “orchard pig”, are an English breed known for being docile, intelligent, prolific, and hearty. From their floppy ears to their curly tails, it’s hard not to fall in love with this breed. Their meat is unparalleled with flavorful fat incorporated into the tender red muscle. They are more succulent than traditional U.S. breeds, and are sure to delight everyone from back yard BBQ’ers to distinguished chefs.

QMG traveled across the country to source the finest breeding stock. Our pigs are registered with Gloucestershire Old Spots of America (GOSA). They are raised outdoors and enjoy plenty of sunshine and fresh air.  In addition to a balanced ration from our local mill, they are treated seasonally to fresh apples, wild nuts, and fresh produce.

Our breeding program aims to produce pigs that are structurally correct, meet breed conformation standards, are hearty, well mannered, maternal and display exceptional carcass quality.  Please click here to inquire about available breeding stock.  We focus on selling breeding quality animals. Most of our feeders are finished on our farm, however we may have feeders available throughout the year.

Please note that we castrate soon after birth. Requests for boars will often require some advanced notice. Pigs are social animals and will not be sold individually unless they will be joining others at your farm
