Purchasing Process:
We make placing your bulk beef order fun and easy.
The first step is to secure your order by placing a one time non-refundable deposit. QMG will schedule processing, notify you of the processing and estimated pickup date, and pickup location. Please note, pickup location will typically be within 30 miles of our farm.
The second step, now for the fun part. You get to customize your cut list with the processor. You can choose between a variety of custom cutting options in addition to having your meat turned into a variety of delicious smoked and seasoned products. If this seems overwhelming, don’t worry! Our processor will walk you through ordering and make it easy and fun.
The third step is to provide final payment to QMG. Final payment is calculated at $5 per pound on hanging weight. Once your beef is at the processor, we will notify you of the hanging weight and email you an invoice. Hanging weight is the weight of the animal after slaughter when many of the unusable portions have been removed. Final weight is approximately 60% of hanging weight, but can vary depending on a number of factors such as whether you choose to have meats smoked or bones removed. As an example, if you ordered a whole beef that hangs at 375 lbs., your final payment to QMG would be $1875 minus your $1000 deposit, for a final invoice of $875.
The fourth step is to pay for processing and pick up your beef. Once QMG has received final payment you may pay the processor directly for their processing costs. Processing fees will vary depending on the options you selected, but typically start around $1.25 per pound.
